Conceptual/experimental project developed as a commercial. Direction, filming, cinematography, and VFX by Tiago Galan. Creative collaboration and executive production: Cristiano Vaz.

For SALLVE the key creative decision was to match that energy on screen while keeping the product feeling genuinely tangible. One point is central and should stand out: the film was produced entirely with live-action capture and practical effects. There is no 3D used to build the scenes; the only graphic layer is occasional lettering-style animations, used as a light accent rather than a visual replacement. This approach was both creative and strategic: keeping everything physical preserves texture and real-world detail—skin, water, shine, viscosity, reflections—bringing a stronger sense of realism and credibility to what the viewer sees. In practice, it meant designing each moment to happen for real on set, with careful timing, framing, and object choreography so the “effects” are born in-camera. Even the final water moment was executed practically: the product was actually submerged in a tank, captured with controlled lighting and movement to achieve the desired feel. The result is a film that’s playful and fast, but grounded in tactile, honest visuals.
